"Saturnian Night"

Viewed during the very brief night, Saturn's magnificent rings dominate the sky. The shadow crossing the backlit rings is cast by the great bulk of Saturn itself.

Saturnian Night has been published in Isaac Asimov's Library of the Universe, In the Stream of Stars: the Soviet American Space Art Book, and Visions of Space. It was also shown in IAAA's international exhibit "Dialogues" in 1991 in cities in Russia and the USA.
