"Moonlit Shore"
28" X 22" Acrylic © 1994

On a calm moonlit night a deer strolls the beach, preferring its relative ease of passage and safety from predators. This tactic is often used by the abundant wildlife of Washington's Olympic National Park. Dramatic formations such as sea stacks, frequently populated by trees, are extremely common on this rugged shore.
