Sunlight filtering through dense forest dissipates fog causing a beautiful display of sunrays on the edge of a coastal forest in Washington's Olympic National Park. The Bald Eagle alights on a lofty snag overlooking the Pacific to serve as a look out for his morning meal. These birds, our National symbol, are common to this area, the last truly wilderness beach in the lower 48 states.
